Andre Agassi picks up thoughtful surprise for wife Steffi Graf as he excitedly waits for German to join him in Maryland

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf have proved once again why they're a power couple of the tennis world. Agassi is currently in Maryland to shoot some promotional content, and as the American excitedly waited for his wife to join him, he picked up a thoughtful surprise for the German.

Agassi and Graf first met in the early 1990s when they were both busy dominating the tennis world. However, the duo only began dating in 1999. The couple got married in 2001, and welcomed their son, Jaden, days after their wedding ceremony. They welcomed their daughter, Jaz, in October 2003.

While Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf had both chosen relatively private lives after their retirements, Agassi recently gave fans a glimpse of their day-to-day. The American filmed himself in a sushi bar in Maryland and revealed he was there to pick up a surprise as he waited for his wife, saying,

“Sitting at a sushi bar in Maryland. Waiting to film a couple days with JOOLA, which I'm excited about, definitely. And I'm doing it with Stef, which is so cool. But she doesn't get in for a couple more hours so I think I'm going to get a cucumber salad to go for her, seared toro, and I don't know, anything else that might make her realise how excited I am.”

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf have been married for more than two decades. In an interview with E!News Agassi broke down the secret behind their successful relationship. The American highlighted the ‘respect' and 'discipline' they both have for each other, saying,

“I think it's like success in life or in anything you do. I think there's a determination you have to be in the most of yourself, in balance of the most of what somebody needs from you, giving what it is you have to give and not attempting to give what you don't. But not leaving anything in the tank when you can give it right. There's a respect, there's a discipline, there's a commitment. And then you need two that are doing that, everything else will get in balance. And we work on it every day, and I'll never stop.”

On the tennis courts, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf are undoubtedly two of the best players the sport has ever seen. Between them, the duo share 30 Grand Slam titles and they each enjoyed long spells as the World No.1 in their respective events.
