Andre Agassi and his children with Steffi Graf, Jaden and Jaz celebrated the 88th birthday of the oldest and wisest member of their family. Agassi's mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Agassi, turned a year older on Tuesday.

On the occasion of his mother's 88th birthday, Agassi shared a black and white snapshot where he can be seen holding his mother and walking at what appears to be a casino or gaming area. He also uploaded some nostalgic photos from his tennis-playing days when he and his mother shone in advertisements. He also shared a current photo of his mother sitting in a warm chair while holding a gift.

"Happy 88th Birthday Momma! Love you so much. ❤️" Agassi wrote in his post on Instagram.

Under the comments section, Agassi and Graf's kids, Jaden and Jaz also celebrated their grandmother's birthday with adorable reactions.

"The sweetest little lady in the world," Jaz wrote.
"Happy birthday nana❤️" Jaden commented.

Agassi's mother, Betty, was born in America. After moving with her family to Las Vegas in the early 1960s, she became a homemaker and raised four children.

During an interview in June 2025, Andre Agassi revealed that both his mother and mother-in-law suffered falls right around Christmas. They were just one door apart at the same hospital.

“My wife’s mom just had a fall just before my mom did. And they were one hospital room away from each other over Christmas. And we were there every day, and we’re still there every day,” Agassi said via Newsbreak.

Agassi made sure to often visit his mother at the hospital. He also shared that he wanted his kids to know that when the time comes, he wants Jaz and Jaden to care about him the same way as he was doing for his mother.

“The kids come and visit. I look at it like, I need to take care of my parents so my kids understand what they’re going to have to do for me,” Agassi said.

“We’re all in process. We’re all growing. We’re all learning. And they never stop. But honestly, it’s part of raising children. So I think them seeing the challenges of negotiating your day,” Agassi added.

Andre Agassi holds immense gratitude and respect towards her mother, Betty, who survived a battle against cancer after being first diagnosed in 2000. When the news was first revealed, Agassi and his family members were taken aback, but his mother remained calm.

His mother's resilience gave Agassi the confidence that together they would be able to overcome this disease.
