Madison Keys is one of the best American tennis players on the WTA tour. She has won nine singles WTA titles in her career so far, including the WTA 1000 title at the Cincinnati Open in 2019. Keys has won at least one title on each surface and reached at least the quarterfinals of all four grand slams.

At the 2025 Australian Open she registered a win over former No. 1 Iga Swiatek in the semifinal by 5-7, 6-1, 7-6. She also defeated Danielle Collins, Elena Rybakina and Elina Svitolina en route. She defeated No. 1 and two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka by 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 in the final thus lifting her first major title. By winning the title she become the oldest Australian Open women's singles champion in the Open Era. She won a prize money of A$3,500,000 for winning the title.

Keys turned professional on her 14th birthday. She made her WTA tour debut in 2009 at the Ponte Vedra Beach Championships. She won her first WTA title at the Eastbourne International in 2014. At the 2024 Eastbourne International, Keys advanced to the semifinals of the tournament before losing to Leylah Fernandez.

Keys reached the fourth round of the 2024 Miami Open. She reached her second WTA 1000 clay semifinal at the 2024 Madrid Open, defeating Liudmila Samsonova, Coco Gauff, and Ons Jabeur en route; however, she lost to Iga Swiatek in the semifinal. At the 2024 Internationaux De Strasbourg, she defeated fellow countrywoman Danielle Collins to win her eighth WTA singles title.

Keys emerged victorious at the 2025 Adelaide International, defeating Jessica Pegula in the final by 6-3, 4-6, 6-1. She lost to Clara Tauson in the quarterfinal of the 2025 ASB Classic.

Is Madison Keys Married?

Madison Keys is tied the knot with Bjorn Fratangelo on November 23, 2024. Fratangelo wrote the caption on his Instagram handle stating, “Can’t put into words how amazing this day was,”. The 29-year-old also added a post with the caption "the best weekend of my life" in a separate post.

She got engaged to her beau and tennis player Bjorn Fratangelo on 3 March 2023. Keys shared the news on Instagram and the post shows the couple's hands entwining each other, with her shiny engagement ring.

How did Bjorn Fratangelo propose to Madison Keys?

Bjorn Fratangelo proposed to Madison Keys at their home. Later Keys reveals the way Fratangelo proposed to her. Keys said: "He actually did it at home. The day that I got back from Dubai so I was not expecting it at all. I was sitting on the couch and he was like, ‘Hey I have your birthday present.’ He handed me something and then got down on one knee. Just sitting on the couch so now we have to keep the couch forever."

She also said that since both she and Bjorn are professional tennis players, they are having difficulty planning a wedding.

Madison Keys and Bjorn Fratangelo have been dating each other for seven years. The couple used to live in the same complex and began dating in 2017. Fratangleo and Keys moved to Boca Raton at a very young age. They used to undergo tennis training sessions at the same facility. Later, both moved to Orlando.
