American WTA star Jessica Pegula made her first Grand Slam quarterfinal at the 2021 Australian Open. As a singles player, she has advanced to the quarterfinals of eight Grand Slam tournaments. Jessica Pegula's Professional Tennis Career

Jessica Pegula was given a wild-card entry into the US Open doubles in 2011. The tournament's third round saw her and her partner, Taylor Townsend, lose. She was given a wildcard for the Indian Wells tournament in 2012. She was able to enter the main draw, but she was defeated in the first round in three sets. At the 2015 US Open, Pegula earned a spot in her first Grand Slam singles competition. She won her first match before moving on to the main draw. In three sets, she was defeated in the second round.

Pegula climbed into the top 100 by 2018. Her ranking increased to #55 after she won the singles match at the Washington Open. She was ranked 76th in the world at the end of 2019. She reached the third round of the 2020 US Open. She had never progressed this far in a Grand Slam before. The American then made it to the Australian Open quarterfinals in 2021 and entered the top 20. She beat world No. 2 Naomi Osaka in May of that year to get to the Italian Open's second round, where she eventually reached the quarterfinals. She competed in the US Open, Australian Open, and French Open in 2022, making it to the quarterfinals in each.
