Candace Owens is weighing in on the renewed scrutiny surrounding leaked Jeffrey Epstein–related correspondence that allegedly mentions US President Donald Trump, saying that the latest disclosures do not indicate personal misconduct by the president but instead point to broader political and donor-related pressures.

Speaking on MyronGainesX on November 18, 2025, Owens said she believes the President has never shown behavior suggesting inappropriate interest in minors and suggested the controversy resurfaced because “they obviously have all the Epstein stuff” and may be attempting to influence him politically.

"I have never felt, and I'm a pretty good vibe person, Trump's not into kids, right? So the nature of the emails, was he at a party? People should just think about that"

Throughout the interview, Candace Owens framed the Epstein leaks as a “public threat” aimed at pressuring the president rather than exposing wrongdoing.

More about what Candace Owens said about the leaked emails and President Donald Trump

Addressing the new wave of attention to Epstein-related emails, Candace Owens said that the President’s alleged proximity to Epstein in certain settings, such as parties, social events, or shared networks, is not evidence of criminal activity, and that all of it shows how Epstein “was very clearly running a sophisticated network and a blackmail ring.”

Owens made it clear that in her view, if there were any substantive allegations implicating the President, political opponents would have used them during his first administration.

Candace Owens focused more on donor influence, claiming that she had been told previously that Trump had reportedly avoided questions about Epstein because “there were donors he was protecting,” naming figures she considers politically influential but “creepy.”

She specifically referenced billionaire Miriam Adelson, saying Trump “took a lot of money” from her and suggesting that such relationships may shape his current responses.

Owens interpreted the timing of the leaked correspondence as part of a broader pressure campaign, saying

“When they started leaking these emails, I read it as a public threat to him.”

According to her, those releasing the documents may want concessions from the president and are signaling that they are willing to escalate. She argued that if President Trump acknowledged publicly whatever information exists, it would neutralize the leverage, saying a president willing to pre-emptively disclose such material would be “cheered” by the public.

Candace Owens said that President Trump's initial dismissal of the files, particularly when he asked, “What Epstein files?”, felt like a turning point for her and for many in what she calls the “original MAGA movement.” As a new mother, Owens said the issue of identifying “where the pedophiles are in our society” became central to her political priorities.

She described the Epstein network as a rare chance to understand how powerful institutions operate, arguing that Epstein had “access to Hollywood,” “models,” financial elites, and major institutions despite having “absolutely no background.”

Candace Owens also linked Trump’s shift on the issue to what she views as a realignment of political alliances. She argued that individuals who once opposed the President are now among his supporters, while early allies are being labeled radical. Owens suggested this reversal reflects deeper, “scary and sinister” forces in Washington that “petrify good men,” citing what she sees as visible fear in officials who once vowed aggressive action on the Epstein case.
