In an X post dated December 12, Donald Trump Jr quoted Jack Posobiec's post, where he mentioned he received a letter from Mother Jones. He wrote:

"As a big believer in press freedom, I stand ready to amplify any newsworthy scoops that Jack has uncovered about this fake news hack!"

According to Jack Posobiec's claims, he received a cease-and-desist letter from a reporter working at Mother Jones, Dan Friedman. The letter warns Posobiec against publishing a "story" about Friedman based on alleged false and unverified information. He received the letter as a warning urging him not to rely on unverified information to write a story about Friedman, which could result in litigation.

It also asked Jack Posobiec to retain all documents regarding his reporting on Friedman. Posobiec shared a screenshot of the alleged letter on his email on X, while also claiming that Dan Friedman has already accepted that his story is factually correct.

He also attached another screenshot of a published Mother Jones article, where Friedman seemingly suggested that one of Posobiec's sources was a woman he had a relationship with previously. Therefore, he accepted the validity of his sources in the piece, which Posobiec shared.

Earlier this year, Andy Byron's cheating scandal during the Coldplay concert took the internet by storm. In July this year, a middle-aged couple was caught on fan cam during Coldplay's concert at the Gillette Stadium in Boston.

The man was Andy Byron, the CEO of Astronomer, while the woman with him was Kristin Cabot, the head of HR in his company. The two were revealed to be cheating on their respective partners and were caught due to being shown on the fan cam.

After the scandal was made public, memes broke out on the internet about the couple and their alleged affair. TPUSA host and popular MAGA supporter Jack Posobiec shared his thoughts on the matter following the incident, claiming the outburst of memes proves people hate straight white CEOs. In an interview with Human Events editor Kenny Cody, he said:

"If they were not straight, if that was not a white couple, guess what, I guarantee you, you would not have seen the response that you did this weekend."

Further, Jack Posobiec then criticized progressives Zohran Mamdani and Oman Fateh, claiming they got so much support because they offer "full-on socialism." Mamdani has since then been elected as the first Muslim and Indian origin mayor of New York.

"What do they offer? They offer full-on Socialism. They offer full-on free stuff. They offer, ‘Hey, we are going to go to all the white people, take away their stuff, and the rich CEOs, and go and take it from them.'"

He continued:

"All those CEO memes that were going around this weekend, the, you know, oh, this guy, he had an affair, Coldplay, etc., etc.. Keep in mind that that, once again, all those CEO memes that were running around this weekend were going viral because leftists hate CEOs. And specifically, they hate straight white CEOs."

Finally, Jack Posobiec also had a message for those who would be critical of his opinion. However, he still believed people have been supporting Zohran Mamdani, Omar Fateh, and Luigi Mangione. He continued:

"People are gonna say, ‘Oh Posobiec is condoning this behavior.' No, I’m not, but I’m explaining the tensions that lead to our society being in the situation where it is: If they were not straight, if that was not a white couple, guess what, I guarantee you you would not have seen the response that you did this weekend."

Eventually, Andy Byron ended up resigning as CEO of Astronomer after the Coldplay fancam incident.
