Sir Tom Stoppard was a legendary playwright and screenwriter who won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for Best Screenplay for 1998's Shakespeare in Love. However, the British talent and literary agency United Agents announced on November 29 that the award-winning writer had passed away at the age of 88. They shared a statement via their website and on Instagram, saying:"We are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved client and friend, Tom Stoppard, has died peacefully at home in Dorset, surrounded by his family."He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Guinness, who is his third wife.
