In a December 9 video shared online, a US Navy veteran and content creator, who goes by Adam the Angler, seemingly called the Sheriff's Office to verify some of Tim Pool's claims. Pool had mentioned in a December 6 post that a shooting took place at his residence or business. Adam asked on the call whether Pool had contacted the office.

In response, the Sheriff's Office mentioned that there were no records of any calls from Tim Pool in their database. Adam the Angler further mentioned that he also spoke to another officer, who also did not have any information about Pool reporting a shooting. The entire conversation was recorded and shot on video, with the clip being made available online.

Tim Pool has been involved in several controversies in recent weeks, including an ongoing brawl with podcaster Candace Owens. Further, Milo Yiannopoulos's latest statements about Benny Johnson on his podcast, Timcast IRL, have also sparked discussion.

Meanwhile, Pool has claimed that his podcast could end soon because he has allegedly been facing death threats and danger for speaking his mind.

Tim Pool claims 19th December could be the last episode of his podcast

In an X Live this week, Tim Pool hinted that his podcast, Timcast IRL, could end on 19th December owing to the recent death threats he has received. He said:

"We've already had emergency meetings for obvious reasons. And there is a possibility that the 19th is the last episode of Timcast IRL. We are doing everything, everything we can to make sure that's not going to be the case."

The podcaster added that while they cannot "forego" security, they cannot "sustain" it either. He has already held emergency meetings with partners and will have to make some difficult decisions. Moreover, Pool has also claimed that there was a shooting at his residence in West Virginia this month, which took place after one of his podcast episodes about Charlie Kirk and Erica Kirk went viral.

"Something has to change. It may be that as we described after the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the threat to come and shoot up our studio and our workplace, we asked at what point do we say we can't do this anymore? The cost of running Timcast IRL studio and the projects around it exceeds the amount of money it brings in. That's just that breaking point, isn't it? For any business, if you need a hundred bucks to, you know, run your restaurant, but you're only bringing 90, you go out of business," Pool said on his live.

Speaking further about shutting down his show, Tim Pool added that he would have to prioritize his family's safety.

"It's no secret that I've been frustrated and disillusioned with a lot of people in politics, but that's no reason to walk away from doing our nightly show with a tremendous success. But the cost is not just money anymore. The cost is the safety of my family, myself, and there are many ideas we're floating around," he said.
