In a viral video ahead of Sunday Night Football, former NFL star and NBC analyst Rodney Harrison was seen freezing mid-sentence while discussing the game. During the pregame talk, analyst Jac Collinsworth asked him what could be "the best way to attack" for the Commanders.

Harrison was about to respond, but froze while speaking. He then asked for the question to be repeated and finally said:

"The best way to attack them... There's a lot of stuff going on, I'm sorry. They don't have a lot of discipline on the defensive side of the ball. That's it. I'm sorry guys."

"100% multiple people talking in his ear at once. Or hearing himself delayed in his earpiece."

Rodney Harrison played as an NFL safety for 15 years, representing the San Diego Chargers (1994-2002) and the New England Patriots (2003-2008). The former player was also the only NFL player to record 30 sacks and 30 interceptions.

He notably won two Super Bowls and was included twice in the First Team All-Pro list. Following his retirement in 2009, Harrison has been a part of NBC's Football Night in America as a commentator and analyst.

"Rodney Harrison here with possible TIA / stroke-like symptoms. I’m hoping he went to the hospital immediately to get evaluated. Scary, hope all is well!"

After this moment, Harrison did not return to the broadcast. However, on Monday, December 1, he shared a message in a reported text to MassLive about his health. The former NFL safety wrote:

"I was exhausted working on a few hours of sleep watching my son play Saturday night. I had 3 hours of sleep on Sunday and had to work all day. I was suffering from exhaustion. But I’m good."

Rodney Harrison has four children, including two sons playing first division football. His son, Christian Harrison, plays safety for the University of Cincinnati, while Harrison Jr is a cornerback for Wofford College. Harrison has been trying to watch both his son's games by travelling from the east to the west, which may have led to some health concerns.

Christian Harrison's team lost to TCU on Saturday, after which Harrison had to travel to Washington for Sunday Night Football. The Broncos eventually won against the Commanders 27-26 last night.
