Stranger Things star, Millie Bobby Brown, made headlines during her December 7 appearance as co-host on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. During this interaction, the actress responded to an unusual fan theory about the Stranger Things character Vecna.
Jimmy Fallon jokingly brought up an online speculation from fans, who claimed that the villain Vecna looked noticeably slimmer in Stranger Things season 5, because “he’s on Ozempic,” a drug. Brown acknowledged that she had seen the chatter, too.
She explained that she found it hilarious that viewers were scrutinizing Vecna’s figure, treating the monstrous character like a celebrity whose appearance must be analyzed.
“I saw that, too. It’s funny that people are commenting on Vecna’s body. I mean, God help him if he gets a little lip filler,” she said.
Millie Bobby Brown also confirmed that Netflix regularly pitched spin-off ideas, sharing examples that had circulated internally, including a show named “Is Dustin Cake?” “K-Pop: Demogorgon Hunters”, “With Love, Vecna”, and the one she “almost said yes to,” titled “Eleven in Paris.”
Millie Bobby Brown reveals how she knew the ending for Stranger Things season 5 before her co-stars
During her aforementioned appearance as co-host on Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show, Millie Bobby Brown also revealed that she figured out the long-awaited Stranger Things finale before the official table read in December 2023.
She explained that everyone around her kept talking about how emotional the ending would be, and she felt unsure how to prepare. But while the cast went into the table read clueless, Brown had already taken matters into her own hands.
“Everybody kept hyping it up, and I didn’t really know how I was gonna react…And then the night before the last table read, we didn’t know what was gonna happen, nobody knew. I actually did know,” Brown said
She then revealed the mischievous strategy she used to get answers, joking that she would “blackmail the directors” with embarrassing high school photos if they didn’t spill details. She explained:
“I like to blackmail the directors. I have, like, high school pictures of them that I will say, ‘I will release this if you don’t tell me what’s happening.’”
Millie Bobby Brown explained that she eventually “snuck” into the writers’ room the night before the final table read.
She said she found a large whiteboard outlining every Stranger Things character’s ending and admitted it was “so much to process,” describing how overwhelming it felt to see the entire conclusion laid out at once.
The rest of the cast, she said, went into the table read with “no one else knowing anything,” making the experience even more emotional.
Millie Bobby Brown described the day as “really wholesome,” noting that:
“We didn't sit at a table, we sat on couches and we just cried for basically two hours straight.
