In a December 9 interview on Sean Hannity's talk show, Hannity Live, on Fox News, Erika Kirk was asked about how God has helped her and whether the values of Christianity have helped her following Charlie Kirk's death. She said:

"My daughter and I, we’ve talked about this at night. She would ask, ‘What do you think Daddy did today in Heaven?’ And I’ll have her relay that back to me… We’ve come to the understanding and I’ve tried to explain this to her that Daddy is still with us he’s just in a different location and he’s building us a home in Heaven. [My daughter] said, ‘I can’t wait to go.’ I said, ‘Me too baby. Me too.’"

Charlie Kirk was shot dead with a single bullet on his neck in September this year while he was delivering a talk at Utah Valley University. The conservative activist was at the talk as part of his organization, Turning Point USA's ongoing tour, which concluded after his assassination.

After Kirk's death, Erika Kirk took over as the CEO of Turning Point USA. She also collected the posthumously awarded Presidential Medal of Honor from Trump after her husband's death. The couple had two children - a son and a daughter.

"We wanted to have four. And I was praying to God that I was pregnant when he got murdered. I was like, ‘Oh, goodness, that was going to be the ultimate blessing out of this catastrophe."

Further, Erika also shared a message for young people, urging them to not put off having children.

"So, now when I see young couples, I tell them, ‘Please, don’t put it off.’ Especially if you’re a young woman. Don’t put it off, you can always have a career, you can always, you know, go back to work. You can never just go back to having children. And they grow so fast and so quickly. I just, I was praying. Both of us were."

In a previous interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters, Erika had mentioned that her three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son talk about their father all the time. She added that she told them their father is "on a work trip with Jesus."

"Yes, my daughter continues to ask. But it is really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things. And I said, if you ever want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking to him. He can hear you," she said.

Further, Erika Kirk revealed her daughter keeps asking if she can go to heaven to her daddy, and she told her that everyone will go there one day. After Charlie Kirk's passing, his wife shared some clips of their children online, including one where their daughter recognizes her father in a poster outside the headquarters of Turning Point USA.

Erika Kirk mentioned in her post that despite Charlie Kirk's death, his legacy will continue to live, and it is also their children's legacy. She is also working towards continuing with Turning Point USA and its mission.
