Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen are set to battle in Buffalo for their perennial regular-season matchup. Expect plenty of fantasy points to go around, regardless of either defense's statistics heading into the contest. The two teams are practically divisional opponents, but with both star quarterbacks, no defense is safe.
Expect Travis Kelce to look rejuvenated against arguably his biggest rival, catching at least one touchdown. James Cook III, meanwhile, is likely to have his moment on a deep rush into the endzone, perhaps early in the game to raise the drama early.
Isiah Pacheco is out for the contest, per Andy Reid via NFL media. As such, it could be a big day for resurrected Chiefs staple Kareem Hunt. Hunt has popped in the past and even this season on minimal work, so if he gets a bellcow game, look out.
Must Starts
- Patrick Mahomes
- Josh Allen
- Travis Kelce
- James Cook III
- Khalil Shakir
- Rashee Rice
- Xavier Worthy
- Kareem Hunt
- Harrison Butker
Bills vs. Chiefs Fantasy Football Week 9 Sit 'Em Picks

While plenty of players could have a productive day up and down the roster for Buffalo and Kansas City, there are some players to exercise caution about. Hollywood Brown didn't record a single catch against the Washington Commanders on Monday, which might make him the biggest casualty of Rashee Rice's return.
Expect another sluggish game from him with perhaps a clutch catch at some point that will make a nice narrative boost, but not do much in terms of fantasy football numbers. Other depth receivers like JuJu Smith-Schuster are a no-no for the same reason.
Lastly, avoid the Chiefs and Bills defense as both quarterbacks will be playing the most motivated ball they have all year. The odds of a pick-six or a scoop-and-score caused by a fumble are quite low. There are many better matchups out there on the waiver wire in the vast majority of cases.
Must Sits
- Hollywood Brown
- Keon Coleman
- JuJu Smith-Schuster
- Tyquan Thornton
- Chiefs D/ST
- Bills D/ST
