As is tradition, the Dallas Cowboys will face another team on Thanksgiving. The schedule makers have been lenient on Dallas in recent years, but not this time around. Dak Prescott will have to humble an emboldened Patrick Mahomes after the quarterback pulled off a monumental comeback against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12.

However, fantasy football managers will look to profit from both sides, regardless of the result. Here's a guide to help you do that, starting with who you should start in the contest.

The game is likely to be a shootout, with Dallas' offense overwhelming Kansas City's good but not great defense. Dallas has had plenty of trouble stopping opposing offenses this season, and is likely to have trouble stopping Kansas City's offense, which is top five in the NFL in average yards per game.

George Pickens missed practice on Monday this week with a knee/calf injury, per the Cowboys' official injury report, but appears to be a full-go against the Chiefs. With Lamb and Pickens both on the field, Prescott should have little trouble alternating between the open receivers.

As for Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes is likely to be pushed to the brink yet again, with the game riding on his arm and improvisational skills. Rashee Rice is likely to benefit, as is the speedster Xavier Worthy. Travis Kelce is also a regular redzone target for Mahomes, which makes him startable in the contest.

With the Dallas Cowboys defense struggling in two of the last four games, the unit should not be trusted to have a good game against the Chiefs. Of course, the unit isn't the only must sit this week.

With the Chiefs now back to full strength on paper in the backfield, starting either Kareem Hunt or Isiah Pacheco is a risky move. Both will likely share a slice of the fantasy football pie, but neither one is likely to get the whole thing. If managers can help it, look elsewhere.

With Lamb and Pickens likely to soak up most of the targets, with Jake Ferguson acting as the de facto WR3, avoid starting any of the depth receivers such as KaVontae Turpin or Jonathan Mingo.
