As the Cincinnati Bengals know, Thanksgiving is here, which means this will be the biggest Thursday for NFL football in 2025. After a star-studded slate, perhaps the biggest fantasy football game of the day is set to take place. After months of waiting, managers are set to finally see Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow in action.
However, is it worth going all-in on the quarterbacks with both players dealing with issues all season long? Here's a look at who should start and sit.

It's now or never for Lamar Jackson, who has shown the ability to pop in 2025 with great showings in September. However, it has been a nightmare for fantasy football managers. Still, with the Cincinnati Bengals defense struggling to stay out of last place in several major categories, the Ravens quarterback should be able to deliver. If he can't, you might as well drop him.
Not only is Jackson likely to deliver, but Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers are also likely to be in for big games. Joe Burrow is likely to push the Ravens for all four quarters, which means the offense will need to continue to produce, which is good news for fantasy football managers.
Tee Higgins is out for the contest with a concussion, according to Zac Taylor via the NFL's official X account. As such, expect plenty of targets for Ja'Marr Chase. However, outside of Burrow and Chase, managers are taking their lives into their own hands.
Must Starts
- Lamar Jackson
- Derrick Henry
- Zay Flowers
- Joe Burrow
- Ja'Marr Chase
- Mark Andrews

With both offenses likely to take a step forward in prime time, the defenses are likely to take a step back. Most managers have learned to leave the Cincinnati Bengals defense on the waiver wire by this point in the season. However, while the Baltimore Ravens defense has been better than it was earlier in the year, it would be a big risk to play them in this situation.
The Bengals could have an entirely new feel with Burrow back under center for the first time since Sept. 14, and the Ravens are likely to be kept guessing.
Additionally, Rashod Bateman isn't worth starting. While some second-string wide receivers are as good an option as their starting counterpart, that isn't the case here. Bateman hasn't earned more than two catches since Sept. 22, setting a low floor for the receiver even with an enticing matchup.
Must Sits
