As the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts are likely well aware, the NFL season has hit the two-thirds mark. However, the divisional series between the two teams is just getting started. Houston is taking things one step at a time, while Indianapolis fans are starting to dream about a deep playoff run. However, fantasy football managers are hoping to get their own victory out of the contest.
To help managers reach that objective, Sportskeeda has compiled a list of names to consider ahead of the Week 13 matchup.

It's hard to decline starting Daniel Jones in any matchup in 2025, and there's little reason to start now. Jones has not finished with single-digit production all season long, which means his floor is reliable enough to start on all but the most well-off fantasy football teams.
Jones has been a set-and-forget quarterback, while Jonathan Taylor has been a set-and-forget running back. Even though Houston has one of the stiffest defenses in the NFL, Taylor is likely to push them to the edge and produce well as a result.
As for Houston, Sauce Gardner is likely to nullify Nico Collins, which is likely to open things up for Jayden Higgins and Christian Kirk. Kirk is likely to make up the bulk of his work in the red zone, while Higgins is likely to earn plenty of targets from the quarterback position.
Must Starts
- Daniel Jones
- Jonathan Taylor
- Woody Marks
- Jayden Higgins
- Christian Kirk
Colts vs. Texans Fantasy Football Week 13 Sit 'Em Picks

C.J. Stroud and Davis Mills have both seen the field this season. However, after a roughly three-and-a-half-game run, Stroud appears to be on pace to start after two consecutive full practices, per Houston's official injury report. As such, don't start Mills.
With Stroud up and down this season on a team with a struggling offense, managers should not rush to start the young quarterback until he's proven he is back to full speed.
If you have a better matchup on hand with another defense, you should also strongly consider that. The Indianapolis Colts haven't been solved yet and possess too much star power to expect an impressive level of production from Houston's defense.
As for Indianapolis, if there was one game to give Tyler Warren a break, it would be this one. Warren has struggled in two of his last three games and could need a breather himself in his first NFL season.
Must Sits
- David Mills
- C.J. Stroud
- Nico Collins
- Texans D/ST
- Tyler Warren
