The New England Patriots and New York Jets are heading into primetime in a game not many would have picked to kick off Week 11, but the opportunity given to New York is huge. New York is on a two-game win streak and have the chance to upset one of the two hottest teams in the NFL in terms of consecutive wins.
Head coach Aaron Glenn has the opportunity to make a statement from a narrative perspective, but how much fantasy value does the matchup provide? Here's a look at players to consider and those to avoid.

Both the New England Patriots and New York Jets have lockdown defenses, setting the stage for a potentially high-floor game for both units in fantasy football. However, one side effect of this is that there won't be too many opportunities to cash in for offensive fantasy football players.
Two names on the Patriots to look out for are Stefon Diggs and TreVeyon Henderson. Sauce Gardner is no longer on the team, which could open the door for Diggs.
Meanwhile, Rhamondre Stevenson is expected to be out, according to a Wednesday Pro Football Talk report. With TreVeyon Henderson looking explosive, there's no reason to believe Mike Vrabel won't give Henderson the familiar Derrick Henry treatment against New York.

Patriots vs Jets Fantasy Football Week 11 Sit 'Em Picks

With the game likely to be largely defensive due to the familiarity of both teams and the defensive prowess of both squads, this will be one matchup to sit Drake Maye. Justin Fields' job hangs by a thread, and thanks to head coach Aaron Glenn's recent refusal to name a starting quarterback, Fields could be yanked at any moment.
Even if Fields stays in the contest, the stiff Patriots defense is likely to keep him in check. There are likely to be better options on the waiver wire this week than Fields. The Patriots have the number one rushing defense in the NFL in yards allowed per game. As such, one should keep their distance from Breece Hall.
Hunter Henry is another player to rest this week, as the tight end's hot start has cooled considerably. The tight end has only tallied more than one catch once in the last three games.
Must Sits
- Drake Maye
- Breece Hall
- Justin Fields
- Tyler Johnson
- Hunter Henry
- Adonai Mitchell
