Picking the right players for your fantasy football lineup weekly is key to success. Look, I do this for a living, and I'm kicking myself over back-to-back weeks where I chose incorrectly in a league. That was more me not fully paying attention to my own teams because I'm busy answering readers' questions, but it still burns.
As we head into Week 10, it's clear that the edges are smaller than ever in this great game. Being aggressive on the waiver wire and starting players like Kyle Monangai last week (22.8 pts) can have a season-saving feel. Don't be afraid to go against the grain by adding and starting someone when the matchup dictates it.
Last week, in this very article, I prompted you to start Marvin Harrison Jr. and Chimere Dike. Harrison Jr. finished at WR 6. Dike was a dud as a receiver but did return a punt for a touchdown, saving his and your day. Let's find more diamonds in the rough or bounce-back candidates who can lead us to victory.

Week 10 Starts:
Jacoby Brissett (QB) ARI - Anointed the starter in Arizona for at least the next four games, Brissett has unlocked the previously dormant weapons in the desert. In Brissett's three starts, he's finished as QB 7, 12, and 10. He's averaging 286.6 yards passing per game in that span. He's brought Marvin Harrison Jr. back from the dead after the team's Week 8 BYE. Harrison Jr. went off for a WR 6 performance with a 7/96/1 line against the Cowboys. Over the past two weeks, Trey McBride has been TE 3 thanks to three touchdowns, which never seemed to happen under Kyler Murray. Sunday, the Cardinals face Seattle on the road, which ranks middle of the pack against quarterbacks. The Seahawks' defense allows 16.2 points per game to quarterbacks.
D'Andre Swift (RB) CHI - Back this week off a groin injury, Swift faces a terrible Giants defense that is getting scorched to the tune of 27.27 points per week to opposing running backs. That's the second-worst in the NFL. Backs can get it done any way they want against the G-men. New York has given up 100+ yards rushing in two straight games. If receiving is your thing, they've allowed a receiving touchdown to a running back in three games in a row. Swift should have a big week in his return. He was on a heater that included four straight games over 15 PPR points before his injury. Kyle Monangai will be involved, but this is Swift's job, and he'll get the first crack at this shaky Big Blue defense.
Wan'Dale Robinson (WR) NYG - I want to recommend both Giants receivers here. The matchup against the Bears is so good that you can safely put Robinson or Darius Slayton into your lineups. Robinson in a PPR is a sneaky good play most weeks. He's seen seven or more targets in four of five games. Chicago is awful. Three Bengals receivers went off for over 17 points a week ago. On the year, the Bears give up the third most points to opposing fantasy receivers. This is a start'm if you've got'm a type game that should shoot out for a ton of fantasy points.

Week 10 Sits:
Tyler Warren (TE) IND - This is a hard call, because I love Warren like a son. He's been incredibly useful weekly. But this week, he faces the tight end destroyers that are the Atlanta Falcons. No team gives up fewer points to the tight end position than the Falcons. Last week, Hunter Henry scored the most against them of anyone this year, a whole 9.10 points on four receptions. Warren is super talented. I wouldn't be afraid to start him, but I'm really lowering my expectations.
DK Metcalf (WR) PIT - This could make three out of four duds for Pittsburgh's talented outside receiver. Last week, in a great matchup, Metcalf was a no-show. His 2.6 fantasy points were the lowest of the season for the former Pro Bowler. Teams are focusing on stopping Metcalf and forcing Aaron Rodgers to look elsewhere. This week, the Los Angeles Chargers should be able to do the same. LA has allowed just one 100-yard receiver on the season. LA ranks sixth in sacks and should have pressure on Rodgers all day. On the year, the Chargers defense ranks fourth in completion percentage against at just 60.8%.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB) WAS - I'm not a fan of "Bill". That's no secret. I just don't think he's very good. He's a running back who is only useful when the Commanders have the lead and he can get carries to produce based on volume. Without Jayden Daniels, that isn't going to happen. JCM doesn't play in the two-minute offense and hasn't had a goal-line attempt since Week 5. He's lost work to Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez. JCM hasn't scored over six fantasy points in over a month. I don't want to roster, let alone start, Croskey-Merritt. There's no way I'm looking to start him this week against Detroit, which ranks third best against the run in terms of fantasy points allowed.
