Shedeur Sanders is proving his critics wrong in his third game as the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback. The rookie threw for 200+ yards and two touchdowns in the first half against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy shared his disappointment about giving up on Sanders following his brilliant first-half performance.
"Of course Shedeur has 2 td passed in the 1st half the week I jump off him. I am so cursed at this." Portnoy tweeted.

Shedeur Sanders' second-quarter heroics against Titans
Shedeur Sanders kept the Browns' QB1 job despite an underwhelming performance in the 26-8 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. The fifth-round pick started slow versus Tennessee, which led by two touchdowns in the first quarter.
Sanders took matters into his own hands in the second quarter, throwing a touchdown pass to David Njoku 40 seconds in. He combined with Jerry Jeudy for a 60-yard touchdown 12 minutes later to put the Browns ahead.
However, Cam Ward and Co. bounced back with a touchdown in the third quarter to take the lead again. The Titans extended their advantage with another touchdown in the final quarter. Cleveland trails Tennessee 28-17 with less than eight minutes remaining.
Shedeur shared a wholesome moment with his dad, Deion Sanders, ahead of the game. The two-time Super Bowl champion embraced his son and adjusted his helmet.
The Browns are expected to stick with Sanders for the rest of the season. They are effectively out of the playoff race and would likely want to figure out their quarterback situation as they prepare for the offseason.
