Tom Brady did not hold back when asked about the San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback situation.The seven-time Super Bowl winner shared his thoughts about the team keeping Mac Jones as starter if it continues to win with Brock Purdy out.“Geez, I wonder why you asked me this question,” Brady said, via "Fox NFL Sunday." "Listen, you got to go with the hot hand. Yes, you stay with him. I got to believe that's why I'm still sitting here today, because they went with the hot hand about 25 years ago. What do you guys expect me to say?”His comments came ahead of the 49ers' Week 10 matchup versus the Rams.Purdy has been out since Week 4 with a toe injury, and Jones, who joined the team in a preseason trade, has stepped up. He has led San Francisco's (6-3) offense, averaging over 22 points per game, three more than when Purdy was starting.Purdy signed a five-year $265 million deal in May and started the season as the clear QB1. However, with Jones energizing the locker room, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan has a tough choice.
