“You can’t grind with attractive people”: Barstool owner Dave Portnoy throws shade at Braxton Berrios & Alix Earle amid couple’s breakup rumors

Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios have reportedly broken up just about one week after she finished second on "Dancing with the Stars." The reports of their breakup surfaced on Saturday after rumors have circulated that the couple may have called it quits.

The "Chicks in the Office" podcast shared the news on Instagram and received a comment from Barstool Sports founder, Dave Portnoy. He didn't seem surprised that Berrios and Earle had broken up and placed the blame on her participation on "Dancing with the Stars", insinuating that her working with another man in close proximity caused issues.

"Duh. No relationship survives dwts. You can’t grind with attractive people for 2 months straight every day and survive it," Dave Portnoy commented.

Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios began dating in early 2023 and made their first public appearance together at the ESPYs in July of that year. In November 2023, they confirmed their relationship on her podcast, "Hot Mess."

Due to Berrios currently playing with the Houston Texans, he was unable to attend any of the live shows of the ballroom dance competition. During the Texans’ bye in Week 6, he travelled to Los Angeles to visit Earle, and she even threw him a surprise birthday party.

Neither Earle nor Berrios have addressed the reports of their breakup.

Alix Earle celebrated her return to Miami amid breakup reports

After the season finale of "Dancing with the Stars" last week, Alix Earle stayed in Los Angeles. This weekend, she made her way back to the East Coast and Miami. The TikTok star celebrated her return to the city with a video on Instagram.

Set to the "She's Back" social media voice over, Earle wore a white corset with her newly colored blonde hair as she walked on a balcony, looking at the beach in the distance.

"Miami we back 🤸🏼🤸🏼🤸🏼" Earle captioned the Instagram post.

Earle posted vlogs to TikTok earlier in the weekend, documenting her trip back to Florida. The 24-year-old said that she is actually considering Los Angeles a location where she may actually want to live in the future. Noting that she feels she may have outgrown the nightlife in Miami.
