Peyton Manning's son, Marshall, is an eighth-grade quarterback for Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Clips of the 14-year-old shot caller went viral on X, showing him dropping dimes against his peers.

A fan said, "Where's brady's son?"

Another said, "I get it hes in the 8th grade… but he has really good footwork and ball placement— he ACTUALLY might pan out. Looking fwd to see how he does in high school."

One added, "he's still just a kid and hopefully loving the game..kinda cool to have your hall of famer dad give you pointers but also be able to go hit up unc."

Some fans weren't as enthusiastic.

Marshall Manning is a third-generation member of the Manning family. He's the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, nephew of former football stars Eli and Cooper, and the grandson of two-time NFL Pro Bowler Archie Manning.

Marshall Manning could be the second member of the third generation of the Manning Family to play collegiate football. His cousin Arch is starring for the Texas Longhorns and is projected to be a top pick in either the 2026 or 2027 NFL Draft.

According to The Spun, Marshall Manning is being linked to three of the nation's best collegiate football programs. They are the Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, and his father's Alma mater, the Tennessee Volunteers.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are known for having arguably the best wide receiver recruitment in the country. They're the current national champions and have an elite talent developing head coach in Ryan Day.

The Georgia Bulldogs are perennial playoff contenders and were close to securing Arch Manning's commitment. It could be second time lucky for the Bulldogs while recruiting a Manning.

Marshall's dad, Peyton Manning, played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers. He's one of the program's most famous products, and joining them could be the legacy choice.
