During Wednesday's press conference, he spoke about the situation while admitting that he understands that criticism is a part of his job as a football coach. However, Kevin Patullo believes that the backlash should be limited to football and not affect other members of the family.

"You know, at this point, we're already focused on winning the game," Patullo said. "Unfortunately, it happened. I've been here for five years now and it's been awesome. I mean, this is such a unique place to coach and play. It's very special. ... As coaches and players, we all know that part of our job is to handle criticism.

"And so it's perfectly acceptable to sit out here and talk about what's going on, how do we fix it, what we're gonna do going forward. We know that. But when it involves your family, obviously crosses the line. And so, that happened. And at this point, you know, we just gotta move on. We're trying to win."

Nick Sirianni promoted Kevin Patullo as the offensive coordinator of the team this season. However, the Eagles offense has been underwhelming in terms of production on the field. They are ranked as the 24th best in the league in terms of total offense, averaging 304.8 yards and 34 TDs passing.

Kevin Patullo has been on the hot seat for his team's disappointing offensive performance. However, after last Friday's loss to the Bears, some fans decided to vandalize his home early Saturday morning. The clip went viral on X, garnering over 902k views.

Nick Sirianni gets real about Kevin Patullo's future with the Eagles

Despite the severe backlash and criticism, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni is not replacing Kevin Patullo as the team's offensive coordinator.

On Tuesday on "SportsRadio 94WIP", Sirianni defended his offensive coordinator and said that it is the team's collective responsibility to fix their mistakes.

"Like I said, in the greatest team sport there is, when things are going well, it's never about, it's never just because of one person. And when things are going bad, it's never just about one person," Sirianni said. "And so, you know, obviously, I spent all, a lot of time with Kevin Patullo than the coaches and the players and I know that you guys get to, outside of that. And you watch the body of work, of your daily process, how you call the game.

"Like I said, if I thought it was just one thing, you know, sometimes when you think it's just one thing, you're able to do different things and make changes. But that's not the case. That's not how I feel with that."

Sirianni also said that the Eagles will "reevaluate things" to improve on the remaining games of the season.

They currently lead the NFC West with an 8-4 record and are next scheduled to face the Chargers on Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET.
