Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Bijan Robinson asked his teammates to reevaluate what they're focused on as the team searches for answers during an extended skid. He aimed at the role social media criticism plays inside the building.

Robinson’s comments came after Atlanta’s 30-27 overtime defeat to the Panthers on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Fox 5 Atlanta's Miles Garrett shared Robinson’s interview clip on X.

"We got to take it one day at a time, one day at a time," Robinson said. "We can't look further than that. ... Now we're focusing on the wrong stuff. We're focusing on the wrong things.

"We're not completely locked into the present and what we're trying to accomplish. So, I know there's gonna be a lot of you know people, people on the negative side of this team, but yeah, man, I say stay off of that. I hope everybody else does too, because we focus on what God has, and that's it."

Bijan Robinson did not hold back when asked how negativity affects players' mentally.

"It's just controlled by the devil," Robinson told reporters on Sunday. "If it gets in this locker room, that's what divides locker rooms. I've seen it. It shuts guys down."

Robinson added that the moment requires stepping out of his comfort zone.

"I can't let it happen," Robinson said. "I'm not going to let it happen. I'm going to do as much as I can to eliminate all that stuff. If I have to say it in front of the whole team, I'll do it."

Atlanta built a double-digit halftime lead before its offense stalled after the break. Robinson carried 23 times for 104 yards and scored twice. Tyler Allgeier finished with a touchdown, and he offered his response to detractors.

“Who cares what sheep say to a lion?” Allgeier said.

Falcons coach Raheem Morris shouldered accountability as the team hunts for solutions.

“There's no such thing as a losing team, there's only a losing leader," Morris said. "I'm the leader, and we lost."

Atlanta will be back in action on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
