Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Tee Higgins took a big hit during Sunday's game against the New England Patriots in Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season. The veteran, who had WR1 duties after the league suspended Ja'Marr Chase for spitting on Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey.A clip of Higgins going for the ball went viral on X. The wide receiver got up to catch a pass from Joe Flacco, but Carlton Davis III jumped at the same time and landed over Higgins' body. The back of the head of Higgins hit hard on artificial turf.He was visibly affected by the hit and didn't stand up immediately, as opposed to Davis.Tee Higgins sat up and talked with trainers, but left the field on a cart. He was subsequently ruled out with a concussion. Before Higgins went down, fellow wide receiver Andre Iosivas suffered an injury.The Patriots needed an extra push in the fourth quarter to beat the Bengals 26-20. Joe Flacco went 19 of 37 for 183 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Tee Higgins led the team in catches, but he couldn't maximize his impact on the game.The veteran wide receiver caught five passes for 31 yards. Iosivas caught four passes for 61 yards, while tight end Mike Gesicki added four receptions for 35 yards.
