Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins suffered a concussion during the second quarter of Sunday's matchup against the Buffalo Bills. He hit his head on the turf while attempting a catch near the sideline. Dov Kleiman shared the clip of the play on X.

"Brutal: Bengals WR Tee Higgins could be looking at a second concussion in just a few weeks. He fell really hard on his head 🙏" Kleiman tweeted.

The former second-round pick stayed on the ground for a while and pointed to his head after getting up. Higgins was walked off the field and taken into the medical tent for evaluation.

It was Higgins' second concussion in three weeks. He suffered a similar head injury during the Nov. 23 game against the Patriots while attempting to catch a deep pass down the right sideline. Higgins was carted off the field and ruled out with a concussion.

He missed the Thanksgiving matchup versus the Baltimore Ravens. The wide receiver shared his feelings about his return ahead of the Week 14 game.

"Any head injury is scary for anybody," Higgins told reporters on Friday. "Thank God I'm able to play again this weekend and keep playing for the rest of the season."

Higgins has appeared in 11 of the Bengals' 12 games and accumulated 40 catches for 575 yards and seven touchdowns.

Tee Higgins extends Bengals' lead vs. Bills

Tee Higgins hauled in an impressive touchdown reception in the back of the end zone before he got hurt, giving Cincinnati a 14-3 lead. He also recorded four receptions for 49 yards.

Chase Brown became Joe Burrow's primary weapon in Higgins' absence. He took it to the end zone for the Bengals' third touchdown. The Bengals led 21-11 at halftime.

Cincinnati (4-8) needs to win all its remaining games and hope that multiple results favor the team to make the playoffs.
