Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders had a tough night on Sunday. While he made his regular-season debut against the Baltimore Ravens, his home was broken into. The incidemt happened at 6:46 p.m. ET.Police said about $200,000 worth of property was stolen from his Ohio home. The security video released by TMZ on Tuesday showed three masked men entering the house. The robbery lasted for 12 minutes and the burglars left with several items. Police have not specified what was taken from Sanders' home. However, reports suggest that luxury goods and valuables were stolen.It was not the first time an NFL player has been targeted while away at games. Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes' homes were burglarized during a Chiefs game against the Saints in October 2024. Kelce reportedly lost about $20,000 in cash and a Super Bowl keepsake.Meanwhile, seven men from Chile were arrested in connection with the break-ins.Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s home in Ohio was also burglarized while he was playing against the Cowboys in December. Thieves stole about $300,000 worth of luxury items.Sanders took over fellow rookie signal-caller Dillon Gabriel after he left with a concussion. He played the whole second half but struggled, completing only 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.
