Justin Herbert’s focus has translated directly onto the field. He had a strong performance in the 37-10 rout of the Minnesota Vikings last Thursday. The Chargers quarterback threw for three touchdowns and ran for 62 yards. He led his offense to 419 total yards in a victory that improved LA to 5-3 this season.

Herbert’s command of the offense stood out, particularly against Minnesota’s heavy blitz schemes. He consistently escaped pressure and extended plays, showing pocket awareness and athletic discipline.

It was a much-needed win after a tough stretch that saw the Chargers drop three of their previous four games. Running back Kimani Vidal powered the ground attack with 117 rushing yards and his first career touchdown. Tight end Oronde Gadsden II continued his breakout season with five catches for 77 yards and a score.

Safety Derwin James Jr. didn’t mince his words after the team’s loss to Indianapolis in Week 7.

"We looked like s---," James told reporters after the game. "We (were) supposed to blow them out."

The Chargers will face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. They are just one game behind Denver in the AFC West standings.
