Stefon Diggs' girlfriend, Cardi B, turned her newborn son’s umbilical cord into a gold necklace. The process was shown in a raw Instagram video posted on Tuesday. Mommy Made Encapsulation made the piece, turning the preserved cord into a custom gold pendant to mark the baby’s birth.

Cardi B welcomed her son on Nov. 4. It's her fourth child, and her first with the New England Patriots wide receiver.

She worked with the company to create the jewelry, and it posted the footage while explaining the meaning behind the piece.

"Where her journey started… turned into a keepsake she’ll treasure forever," Mommy Made Encapsulation wrote.

"The umbilical cord is the very first connection between a mother and her baby - the lifeline that nourished, protected, and carried them through every moment of pregnancy.Creating this keepsake is always such an honor, but doing it for Cardi and her sweet baby again means the world to us. "

Cardi B announced the birth on Nov. 13 and said she was starting a “new season” in her life. She posted the first photos of her son on Wednesday. He was wrapped in a red, white and blue Patriots blanket with “Diggs” on it. The baby also wore a blue hat covered in little footballs and his dad’s name.

The rapper sat beside a giant elephant plush toy, dressed in a blue outfit, while holding her sleeping son.

“11/4 🧸🩶🏈,” Cardi B wrote.

Diggs commented on the post, writing, “Proud of you boo butt !!!! Love you 💕” and added, “Baby brim 😙😙😙😙😙.”

Stefon Diggs’ alleged paternity could face complications as report cites Offset’s possible legal ties

Stefon Diggs’ girlfriend, Cardi B, is still legally married to Offset despite being separated and in the process of divorce. They tied the knot in Georgia in September 2017, a detail that matters because she just had a new baby.

Under Georgia Code 19-7-20 (a), a child born during a marriage is presumed to be legitimate. Offset is presumed to be the legal father regardless of biological paternity.

Diggs may need to legally establish paternity through court proceedings. To overturn the presumption, Georgia law requires “clear and convincing” evidence, which can include DNA testing and formal acknowledgment.
