The franchise has confirmed Hill won’t play again this season as he focuses on healing. While he continues to rehab, Hill has not yet decided whether he will retire from the NFL following his season-ending knee injury.

Speaking on a podcast, hosted by his former teammate Terron Armstead, which was released on October 24, Hill said:

“At the end of the day, I feel like that decision is based upon how I feel and where my mindset is at the moment. I’m happy with the career that I’ve had. I love playing football. I love it, but it takes a lot. It takes a lot on you mentally, it takes a lot on you physically.”

Adding to the uncertainty, NFL Analyst Omar Kelly suggested the Dolphins might cut Hill in 2026 to free up salary cap space on November 7. Before showcasing his affinity for football, Tyreek Hill posed with his son, Deuce.

The Dolphins WR reposted the little one's IG Story, which read:

"Dad surprised me at lunch, today."
