Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce had a heated moment with Chiefs coach Andy Reid during Sunday's game against the New York Giants. On social media, a clip of the tight end went viral.

Kelce had a heated argument on the sidelines during the game. Both he and Andy Reid seemed to stand firm in their approach as they bumped into each other during their argument. The Chiefs are looking to secure their first win of the season after an 0-2 start.

Reid and his team started the season with a 27-21 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil. In Week 2, they suffered a 20-17 home loss at Arrowhead Stadium at the hands of the Super Bowl LIX champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.

In two games, Kelce has failed to put up a decent performance. In Week 1, he had just 47 yards and one touchdown. In Week 2 against the Eagles, Kelce had just four receptions for 61 yards with no touchdowns.

Against the Giants on Sunday, the Chiefs took an early lead thanks to a 54-yard field goal by Harrison Butker in the first quarter. He followed up with a 48-yard field goal in the second quarter, giving Andy Reid's team a 6-0 lead at MetLife Stadium.

However, Giants running back Cam Skattebo scored a 13-yard rushing touchdown to level the playing field. But Butker made another field goal, securing a 6-9 lead for his team before the halftime whistle.

In the third quarter, quarterback Patrick Mahomes found Tyquan Thornton with a 5-yard passing TD to extend their lead, helping the Chiefs inch closer to their first win of the season.


NFL reporter criticizes Travis Kelce after lackluster start to 2025 season

Tight end Travis Kelce has struggled on offense this season. NFL reporter Rachel Strand shared her perspective on Kelce's future in the league.

According to her tweet, Strand believes that the three-time Super Bowl champion is past his prime.

"Travis Kelce should have retired this past offseason tbh... dude simply doesn't have it anymore," Strand wrote.

Travis Kelce is in the middle of the final year of the two-year deal he signed in April 2024. Will the veteran tight end decide to hang up his cleats after this season, or will the Chiefs provide him with another short-term contract next year?
