However, when McAfee asked Love if this season would be his last at the collegiate level, the Notre Dame star hilariously dodged the question.

"I got one more year of eligibility left after this," Love said, but didn't give a definitive answer to McAfee.

McAfee then said that Love could potentially end up with several Notre Dame records if he opts to remain with the program. The analyst also suggested Love could be recognized as a potential Hall of Famer for the Fighting Irish.

Love has posted 1,135 yards and 14 touchdowns on 177 carries, while adding 274 yards and three TDs on 26 receptions.

Love has helped Notre Dame to an 8-2 record and a No. 9 rank this season, with the team in contention to make the College Football Playoff.

“Since game one, I’ve just seen a ton of improvement from CJ," Love said, "He’s always been a baller. He’s always been able to make the difficult throws. He’s never been the type to cower down or be scared of any defense. CJ has been elevating mentally every single game. I feel like every single game, he’s just getting smarter.”
