The Detroit Lions are hosting the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon at Ford Field. For the Week 12 matchup, the Lions donned their 'dark mode' uniform scheme and the Lions cheerleaders joined in on the theme. The cheerleaders posted a video on their Instagram account on Sunday morning. The video showed two of the cheerleaders in a transition-style video of their traditional uniforms into the black uniforms for the 'dark' game. The ladies’ uniforms were the traditional tennis skirts and sleeveless cropped tops but in a different color palette. On Sunday afternoon, the New York Giants, who are without rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart for the second consecutive game, took an early 10-0 lead. On Saturday evening, Detroit's cheerleaders took a field trip to the Emagine Royal Oak movie theater for a viewing of "Wicked: For Good." The sequel to the "Wicked" movie that debuted last year featuring Ariana Grande. The cheerleader's Instagram account shared a photo on the Instagram Story of their movie outing and thanked the theater for the experience. The ladies posed for a group photo on the yellow brick road as a nod to the movie.
