WATCH: High school romantic video of Drake Maye in Alabama jersey with wife Ann Michael goes viral

Quarterback Drake Maye and the New England Patriots have won straight and now sit atop the AFC East with a 6-2 record. On Monday, a video of Maye during his high school years resurfaced and has since gone viral.

The video was taken by his wife, Ann Michael, who he has been dating since both were in seventh grade. Maye can be seen wearing an University of Alabama T-shirt while sitting in a chair with his legs up. The camera then pans to Ann Michael who was singing a song that was playing in the backdrop, declaring her feels for the quarterback.

The North Carolina native, wearing an Alabama Crimson Tide shirt, posed some questions. Drake Maye went on to attend the University of North Carolina where he was a two-year starter for the Tarheels.

Drake and Ann Michael's relationship began in middle school and continued throughout high school. Both attended the University of North Carolina, however, the quarterback left one year early in order to pursue his NFL dreams. Ann Michael shared the news of her graduation from UNC this past spring.

In the caption she celebrated the New England Patriots being undefeated throughout the entire month. She also shared her look for each gameday throughout the past few weeks. The most recent Week 8 matchup, Ann Michael wore jeans, a white shirt and khaki jacket and completed the look with a blue New England Patriots baseball cap.

The New England Patriots quarterback is having an eventful year. He started off the year 2025 by proposing to his longtime love, Ann Michael. In June, the couple got married in their home state of North Carolina. In his second season in the National Football League, Maye seems to be thriving under new coach Mike Vrabel and his coaching staff.
