Colin Cowherd fired back at Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons following a heated exchange on X. The FS1 analyst dragged Tyreek Hill in his counter. The back-and-forth started when Cowherd criticized Parsons' performance against Philadelphia on Monday.Cowherd dismissed his impact despite statistics telling a different story."He didn’t have a sack," Cowherd said on Tuesday, via "The Herd." "He didn’t have a quarterback hit. Let me check the stats. Oh, it’s the second straight game. No sacks, no quarterback hits."Parsons clapped back at him."We just held Saquon Barkley to 60 rushing yards, and our only losses have been holding teams to 13 points! Man, sometimes can y'all? Please stfu and enjoy great defense!" Parsons tweeted.Cowherd doubled down on his criticism the next day."Micah Parsons is a stud athlete, but the Cowboys tried to use him at linebacker and it didn't work," Cowherd said."Well, he didn't like when I said that. He put up a tweet yesterday saying, 'Hey, we just held Saquon Barkley to 60 rushing yards, and our only losses have been holding teams to 13 points, man. Sometimes, can y'all please just blankety-blank stop giving people mics or listening to trash.'"While Cowherd acknowledged that Parsons and Green Bay limited Saquon Barkley's production, he drew parallels between the Packers defensive end and Hill."So let me say this about your great job against Saquon Barkley: seven of nine Philadelphia Eagles games, the Dallas Cowboys held him to 60 yards," Cowherd said. "Micah is essentially Tyreek Hill, both unbelievable, both will probably make the Hall of Fame, both highly productive. But Andy Reid moved off him."Parsons recorded zero sacks and zero quarterback hits, but he generated seven pressures, the fifth-most among edge rushers in Week 10. He was crucial in Green Bay's effort to hold Philadelphia to just 10 points and Barkley to 60 rushing yards on 22 carries.Former Eagles linebacker extends support to Micah ParsonsEx-NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho called out Colin Cowherd on Tuesday for misrepresenting Micah Parsons' run-stopping abilities."Men lie. The tape doesn’t," Acho tweeted.Acho shared multiple game clips showing the edge rusher executing textbook run defense. He defended Parsons’ run defense and urged fans to watch the film. Acho included a video showing the four-time Pro Bowler in action against the Philadelphia Eagles, fighting blockers and stopping Saquon Barkley.Parsons, who signed a four-year $188 million contract with Green Bay after four seasons in Dallas, has recorded 22 tackles and 6.5 sacks this season.
