It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for seven weeks, tying “Blank Space” and just behind “Anti-Hero,” which held the No. 1 spot for eight weeks.The song is inspired by Ophelia from Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
