On Wednesday's episode of the "New Heights Show," Hollywood icon George Clooney asked Kelce if he'd like to go into some show business or act more after bidding farewell to the gridiron.

"Listen, as long as I'm getting asked by guys like Adam Sandler, you know my heroes growing up," Kelce said. "Man, I'm gonna be there in a heartbeat. Man, I don't know how much skill I have, but I'll be the best teammate on set and have some fun with you if you hire me. That's for damn sure."

Besides his cameo in Happy Gilmore 2, Travis Kelce has appeared in Ryan Murphy's 'Grotesquerie' in 2024 and hosted Prime Video's "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?"

Sandler praised the ten-time Pro Bowler's professionalism and performance on set. He revealed that the Chiefs' tight end showed up the day after a Chiefs game despite having a bruise on his back. The Hollywood star believes Kelce can be a great entertainer.

Travis Kelce has also built an impressive business portfolio. In October 2025, he partnered with Jana Partners to invest $200 million in Six Flags Entertainment, acquiring 9% of the company. He co-founded 1587 Prime Steakhouse in Kansas City with Patrick Mahomes.

Travis Kelce has investments in Hilo Nutrition, Club Car Wash, Cholula Hot Sauce, Tru Kolors clothing and barbecue products with Walmart. He and his brother, Jason, also have a three-year, $100 million podcast deal with Amazon's Wondery.

Travis Kelce on his retirement timeline

Before Kansas City’s 23–20 overtime win against the Colts on November 23, Travis Kelce was asked about whether he plans to retire after the 2025 season. The Chiefs' TE revealed he will make his decision before the offseason begins.

"I think, you know, seeing my brother go through it and seeing how the league works, you know, this season kind of restarts in April," Kelce said. "I want to give the Chiefs a good opportunity, whether I come back or not, vice versa, like whether they want me back or not."

Kelce said he will make his decision before the team starts preparing with draft picks and free agency. He wants to allow the franchise to build the roster correctly if he is not around next season. The veteran doesn't want to stress about his future until the end of the year.

If Kelce plays for Kansas City in 2026, he will be 37 years old. Right now, he is the second-oldest tight end in the league.
