Tom Brady is in his second year as a Fox announcer. However, the former NFL quarterback has still not made a solid impression on veteran analyst Skip Bayless.

Brady was on the call for the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys game in Week 12 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday. He was on the analysis duty, beside Kevin Burkhardt, who was handling the play-by-play in the announcers' booth.

Soon after the Eagles-Cowboys game kicked off, Bayless aimed a dig at Brady's commentary.

"As a TV game analyst, Tony Romo is 10X better than Tom Brady. Sees more, says way more," Bayless tweeted on Sunday.

Last month, Bayless aimed a dig at Brady for not having the desired skillset as a commentator.

"The more I listen to Brady as a broadcaster, the worse it gets," Bayless said on his YouTube show. "And I've never seen a time when a network felt compelled to actually advertise the commentator during the game he's commenting on.

"Tom never tells me anything that I say, 'Oh, I didn't think of that.' Tony Romo, always. Tony Romo takes stands. Tom can't say anything bad. You cannot, as an owner, criticize anything on the football field. Not referees, not players, not coaches, cannot criticize. So, it just vanillas you out. ... Tom's not gonna tell you that. He's not gonna take any stands."

Brady has received mixed reviews throughout his time in the announcers' booth. However, it seems that he has a long way to go to impress Bayless.

According to reports, Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox Sports in 2022. He assumed his role with the company before the 2024 NFL season.

Reports claim that Brady made $317,619,794 in career earnings during his 23 years in the NFL. However, he is set to earn more than that figure with his Fox deal in less than half the time he played in the league.
