Tom Brady dedicates lighthearted post to son Benjamin on 16th birthday after ex-wife Gisele Bündchen's 12 o'clock emotional message

Tom Brady celebrated his son, Benjamin’s, 16th birthday on Monday with a witty message. The NFL legend joked about how he still texts him late at night and that he still doesn’t know how to fold laundry. However, he praised Benjamin for being kind, caring and fun.

Brady also posted photos of Benjamin with him, his sister, Vivian, and his older half brother, Jack.

"Happy 16th Birthday, my precious forever baby boy Benny!" Brady wrote on Instagram. "🎉 You’re officially old enough to drive, but not old enough to stop texting me ‘Where r u?’ at midnight.😜 You are kind and caring and thoughtful, you lead with your heart but you are also so funny and fun to be around and you make every room brighter.

"Proud doesn’t cover it, mostly I’m shocked you grew up so fast and somehow still haven’t learned to fold a laundry basket properly 😅😅. Here’s to more big moments, great grades, sports wins, and a slightly lighter Uber bill. And I know this next year will be your best year yet. We love you sooooo much. 🍰🚗💨"

Brady's ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, also posted a birthday message for their son. She uploaded a throwback photo with Benjamin and talked about how he's growing up fast.

"Happy 13th birthday my sweet angel!" Bundchen wrote on Instagram. "I wish you could stay this little so I could take you everywhere with me. I can’t believe you are already 13th! You have the biggest, most beautiful heart, a soul so kind it touches everyone around you. I’m grateful every day that you chose me to be your mama. I love you with all of my heart."

Benjamin was born on Dec. 8, 2009, while Vivian was born in 2012 and Jack in 2007.

After Brady and Bündchen divorced in 2022, they continued co-parenting Benjamin and Vivian.
