Patrick Mahomes' 2025 campaign came to an abrupt end after he suffered a torn ACL injury on Sunday. The Kansas City Chiefs' playoff hopes were thwarted following a disappointing 16-13 loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers.The three-time Super Bowl champion now has a long road of ACL rehabilitation ahead of him. Retired quarterback Tom Brady also suffered the same injury as Patrick Mahomes during the start of the 2008 season.On Monday, on Sirius XM's "Let's Go" podcast, he shared some friendly advice with the Chiefs quarterback regarding his upcoming ACL rehabilitation journey."It's a tough rehab," Brady said (Timestamp-18:45). "It's one of the toughest rehabs. I just remember everyday pushing myself. And it's always the same amount of pain and discomfort except you're making progress through that pain and comfort, which is a hard psychological battle."The only thing you can do is focus on what's ahead of you and not look back," Brady added (Timestamp-19:15). "And just say, 'OK, this is part of what my career's going to be.' And a lot of people have gone through it and a lot of people have overcome it. You've just got to put as much diligence into the rehab process."And I always feel like the faster you rehab, the faster you can get back to practicing the sport that you love. ... I think you gotta get through rehab mode as fast as possible and then you get back to training mode. But that requires an all-out commitment and it's the same that the great professional athletes make to be great at their profession."Patrick Mahomes' injury occurred during the fourth quarter of the Chiefs vs Chargers game when he was tackled by DL Da'Shawn Hand.
