In the post-game press conference, Dawkins, who signed a three-year deal worth $60,060,000 in 2024, said that Keon Coleman had to improve on his work ethic and "grow up" as a professional playing in the NFL.

"I already spoke to him," Dawkins said. "I spoke to Keon before the game and I told him, I said, 'Look, don't even worry about it. Everybody goes through a different journey. Let's just say this is the last time. Let's move forward.' He said, 'I'm with you.'

"That's all that we need right? Nobody's perfect. But in this league, we need guys to come on. And Keon knows, right? Now he's on the hot seat and he need to come up and show up for us. Pats on the back are over with and it's time for him to grow up and he knows it. As an older player on the team, we hold everybody accountable. ...We don't sugarcoat it. And words were said to him and he took it well."
