Pete Carroll's Las Vegas Raiders suffered a 10-7 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 10 on Thursday night. It was Las Vegas' seventh loss of the season, potentially ending the team's hopes of making the playoffs.

After the game, Carroll discussed some of the struggles running back Ashton Jeanty and wideout Dont'e Thornton Jr. had in the contest. The Raiders coach also appeared to send a warning to the rookies to improve.

“This isn’t going to be forever,” Carroll said. “This is what it is right now. It’s probably the first time Dont’e had a shot at that route where he really had a chance, but we had to avoid the pick and didn’t get that done. We practiced it and all that, and it always works out better than that. That guy ran right into him, and that caused the pick.

“Guys that have been around, that wouldn’t happen too likely. They know how to avoid it because they know what’s coming. They’re going to get a call. Those things will go away. We’ll overcome that. If they don’t, then they’re not getting better. They won’t be here, but they’ll improve on those kinds of things.”

Jeanty had 60 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, but wasn't able to make much of an impact apart from his score. One of Jeanty’s mishandled catches led to an interception.

Meanwhile, Thornton Jr. and Jack Bech had holding penalties that hurt the Raiders.

The Cowboys are on a two-game losing streak. They have a BYE in Week 10, giving the team enough time to prepare for the clash against Las Vegas.

Carroll will want to snap the Raiders' three-game losing streak when Dallas visits Las Vegas.
