Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders got his first win in his first NFL start on Sunday, leading his team to a 24-10 triumph over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12. After the game, Sanders appeared to hit back at those who were anticipating his failure. When former Browns coach Eric Mangini caught wind of Sanders' post-game comments, he felt the QB was taking shots at current Cleveland coach Kevin Stefanski and his staff."That's how we got here, that's how we kind of ended up in the fifth round, because of talking like that, because of presenting yourself like that," Mangini said of Shedeur Sanders on "First Things First" on Monday. "And I get it, you want to be confident, and that's fine. You should be confident, but you don't need to take it to this level. You were there for OTAs, you were there for training camp, you've been there all season. You've been in every single meeting; you were the backup quarterback, so you had one week of practice."How many weeks of practice do you need? So let's see now that you get more than one week of practice ... I think that there's some value in humbleness. Humbleness is not necessarily a negative trait in the NFL. When you take a victory lap like that and take shots at the coaching staff, because that's what it is. So he's taking shots (but) those guys still ultimately control your destiny."The Browns named Sanders as Dillon Gabriel's backup earlier in the season. Sanders got his opportunity to start against Las Vegas because Gabriel did not clear the concussion protocols.Sanders went 11 of 20 for 209 yards with one touchdown and an interception against the Raiders. He also became the first rookie QB in Cleveland's history to get a win in his first career start since the organization's reactivation in 1999.Browns HC Kevin Stefanski confirms Shedeur Sanders will start vs. 49ers in Week 13NFL: Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders - Source: ImagnOn Monday, Browns (3-8) coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that Shedeur Sanders will start against the San Francisco 49ers (8-4) in Week 13.
