Andy Reid's Kansas City Chiefs suffered a 16-13 loss to the LA Chargers in Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday, effectively being eliminated from postseason contention. To make matters worse, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a season-ending ACL injury in his left knee in the fourth quarter. Since Mahomes is set to be sidelined for a lengthy spell, the Chiefs might not have their star QB for the start of the 2026 season.Amid the potential concerns regarding Mahomes' injury and the Chiefs not making the playoffs this year, CBS analyst Pete Prisco has raised some questions around Reid's future with the team."What's it mean for Andy Reid?" Prisco said on "NFL on CBS" on Sunday. "I mean, Reid's not a young man, and I talk to him all the time. How long is he gonna do it? He wants to keep on doing it, but when you don't have Patrick Mahomes for a year, that's another year you're probably not gonna win a lot of games. So, there's a lot of concern in Kansas City, it's gonna be so weird not to see them in the playoffs." View this post on Instagram Instagram PostThe Chiefs hired Reid in January 2013.
