Pete Carroll and the Las Vegas Raiders suffered a disappointing 33-16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys at home in Week 11. One of the talking points of the game was the lack of action for their 2025 first-round pick, Ashton Jeanty.Jeanty had just six carries for seven yards while catching six passes for 27 yards behind a Raiders offensive line that struggled once again. On Tuesday's episode of "The Arena: Gridiron," Peyton Manning's ex-teammate Aqib Talib called out Pete Carroll and the Raiders coaching staff for the way they have been utilizing one of their best weapons on offense."There was 5 to 7 runs that was terribly schemed up the way they blocking. That s**t gotta start upstairs," Talib said.Talib and Manning were teammates for two seasons with the Denver Broncos, winning the Super Bowl in 2016.This season, Jeanty has rushed for 554 yards and three touchdowns, while catching 29 passes for 163 yards and three touchdowns.Under Pete Carroll, the Raiders have the 25th-ranked passing offense, averaging 187.6 yards. They are second worst in rushing, averaging 81.4 yards with four touchdowns. In the post-game press conference, Carroll said he did not care about outside opinion on how Jeanty needed to be used."I don't really care about pleasing people with one run-pass mix," Carroll said as per PFT. "I just want to move the football."That's your guys' way of thinking. Our thinking is we're trying to win games."Ashton Jeanty opens up about the lack of plays after disappointing loss against the CowboysDuring Monday's press conference, Ashton Jeanty was asked about the lack of rushing plays against Dallas. Jeanty said these decisions were not under his control and that he could only work with what was given to him."I don't call the plays," Jeanty said. "It's up to the guys upstairs. I just get whatever I can get."The rookie also opened up about his experiences in his first season in the NFL."Perseverance. Just continue to trust in my faith, trust in God who's playing for me. It's obviously it's not going the way I wanted to. But it's already written. Whatever is in the future will happen. But I just got to continue to just keep going and finish the year strong."The Raiders (2-8) will face the Cleveland Browns (2-8) on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET.
