NFL legend Tom Brady made headlines on Tuesday when he said that his dog Junie is a clone of a "beloved" family pet, Lua, who died in December 2023. Brady shared the news with an announcement from Colossal Biosciences, a biotech company that he has invested in to push genetic engineering.

When WNBA star Sophie Cunningham caught wind of Brady cloning Junie with Lua, she slammed the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback for doing some "weird sh*t."

"I don't have a problem with him (Brady), but he does some weird sh*t," Cunningham said on her "Show Me Something" podcast with West Wilson on Thursday (Timestamp: 12:00).

Cuningham, who won the WNBA Commissioner's Cup with the Indiana Fever earlier this year, doubled down on rich people doing weird stuff.

“I love my animals. They mean the world to me and my family,” Brady said. “A few years ago, I worked with Colossal and leveraged their non-invasive cloning technology through a simple blood draw of our family’s elderly dog before she passed.”

Brady played in the NFL for 23 years. He spent 20 seasons with the New England Patriots, winning six Super Bowls.
