When she asked what happened, he told her, “Chase spit on somebody. Keep in mind, this is two grown men arguing and he spit on somebody.”

Kuch compared it to something that could happen in real life, saying:

“I’m pretty sure that’s like a… Like if that happened down the street, you could get jail time, right? Isn’t that like harassment?”

She then started guessing the fine: $20,000… $30,000… and Rochell kept saying, “More.”

She tried bigger numbers: “40,000, 100,000.”

Rochell encouraged her, “Yeah, keep going.”

“That better be a good ball of spit,” Kuch joked.

Isaac Rochell added, “That better be a good hock to it.”

She kept going: $150,000… $200,000… $300,000… $400,000… $500,000.

Rochell said “More” every time, until he finally told her:

“He [Chase] almost got fined $600,000.”

Kuch said:

“I bet you he’ll never spit on anybody ever again.”

Rochell then brought up his own fine, saying:

“We hope so, and my wife got mad at me because I got fined $5,000 for my socks.”

Kuch corrected him: “$7,000.”

The NFL announced the punishment after watching video from the Bengals-Steelers game on Nov. 16.

Officials said the video showed Chase spitting at Ramsey during the fourth quarter.

The fine comes from Chase’s weekly paycheck of $448,333 plus a bonus of $58,823. He has been additionally sidelined for Week 12 after appeals officer Jordy Nelson upheld the suspension.

Ramsey was kicked out of the game for punching Chase after saying Chase spat on him. Chase denied it later, saying, “I didn’t spit on nobody.” But the NFL said the video proved otherwise.
