Steelers insider Andrew Fillipponi wants the NFL to suspend the Cincinnati Bengals' WR Ja'Marr Chase for what happened between him and veteran cornerback Jalen Ramsey.In the post-game press conference, the four-time Pro Bowler denied the allegations that he had spat on Jalen Ramsey, which led to a physical feud between them on the field. He said that their verbal back-and-forth led to the cornerback throwing a punch at him."I ain't ever open my mout today," Chase said to the media. "You know, like, some of the swears I told. We've been going back and forth the whole time. So I'm sure something got under his skin. First time we had an alteraction, and then there was a second time."However, Andrew Fillipponi did not believe Ja'Marr Chase's words. He shared the clip on X with a caption that read:"Liar Liar pants on fire. Suspend him 2 games. 1 for spit. 1 for lie.:During a third-down play in the fourth quarter, both players got together after Chase grabbed Jalen Ramsey's face mask and dragged him. They were awarded personal penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct.After the fourth down play, the Bengals called for a timeout during which both Chase and Ramsey got into a second feud. He claimed that Ja'Marr Chase spat on him during their feud, which is why he felt disrespected and got physical."He spit on me, so it's up," Ramsey said. "I don't give a f**k about football after that. Respectfully, I'm always gonna be all for trash talking and stuff like that. I actually enjoy that part of the game. I think people know that, and that's what he was doing."After the first one, the first little thing, the play before, he tried to crack block me or whatever, you know what I mean? I got up off that, and then we got up talking s**t or whatever. He snatched my mouthpiece off my facemask, and that's when I mushed his facemask and that was a little sucuffle. ... Then, yeah, soon as soon he spit, it was like it was what it was."Before his ejection, Jalen Ramsey had four total tackles and one pass defended. The Steelers ended the night securing a 34-12 victory over the Bengals and improving their record to 6-4.
