Shedeur Sanders will finally start a regular-season game this Sunday when the Cleveland Browns visit the equally languishing Las Vegas Raiders. And Greg Jennings has some advice for him ahead of this moment. On Tuesday's episode of FS1's "First Things First", the former Super Bowl-winning wide receiver said (from 03:10 in the video below):"I don't necessarily think he has to be good. He just can't be bad. … This is why I'm saying the management of the game, and maybe not even the game - the offense like, can you make decisions, that even if you want to revert to your instincts, you are disciplined enough to not do... I'm not saying be a robot."He continued:"But what has to be shown is that you can play on time, that you can be decisive when you get the ball, when you drop back, that you can protect not only yourself, but receivers as well. ... The reality of it is, we're all professionals, the expectation of the other guys that are going to be on the field, your coaching staff and yourself, is, I'm going to be ready."Kickoff for the game at the Raiders is at 4:05 pm ET on CBS.Insider says Shedeur Sanders, fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel may face competition in 2026Since their reactivation, the Browns have been notorious for their instability at quarterback, with Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders being their 41st and 42nd starters, respectively. And for Mary Kay Cabot, that instability will only intensify as they look to regain their winning ways.Appearing on 92.3 The Fan on Tuesday, she predicted the franchise's plans for quarterback competition next season as follows:“They will draft one in 2026. They’ve been crisscrossing the country, scouring and scouting these quarterbacks. ... Maybe they do look at bringing in another bridge veteran, too. Some of it will depend on what happens with Dillon and Shedeur for the rest of the season.”She also expressed belief that Deshawn Watson, who is currently out recovering from an Achilles tear, will be involved in some capacity:“Maybe he’s your veteran something or whatever. If they can demonstrate to some of these guys that they have a winning quarterback coming down the pike, then I think it changes everything.”The 2026 NFL draft will be held from April 23 to 25 in Pittsburgh.
