The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-28 on Thanksgiving, putting themselves above .500 for the first time. However, it did not come without controversy.During the game, several calls went against the reigning AFC champions, including pass interference against Trent McDuffie as he guarded CeeDee Lamb early in the fourth quarter. George Pickens also benefited from a pass interference call on the same drive.Rules analyst Gene Steratore did not support the call against McDuffie, saying he would have preferred if the officials had let them play. In total, the Chiefs were penalized 10 times for 119 yards, while the Cowboys had seven penalties for 50 yards.Former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Chase Daniel had some strong words about the seeming officiating disparity."It’s almost like the officiating is trying to prove the national narrative wrong that the Chiefs get all the calls….in front of probably 50 Million people," he tweeted.Chase Daniel @ChaseDanielLINKIt’s almost like the officiating is trying to prove the national narrative wrong that the Chiefs get all the calls….in front of probably 50 Million peopleDak Prescott completed 27 of 39 attempts for 320 yards and a touchdown each to Lamb and Javonte Williams. What a thrill to compete at this level.”Another topic that came up was the team’s playoff prospects.
