Justin Jefferson's Minnesota Vikings (4-7) are in an uphill battle to make the playoffs this season. Amid the Vikings' offensive struggles, Max Brosmer is likely to start at quarterback for the team in their Week 13 clash against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday since JJ McCarthy is dealing with a concussion. On Wednesday, Vikings wideout Jefferson shared his thoughts on Brosmer.“He’s definitely a good QB," Jefferson said. "To be able to fit in with this offense, and create a spark for us, that's something that we really need right now.”McCarthy missed his entire rookie season in 2024 due to a knee injury. This season, McCarthy has 929 passing yards, six touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He is 2-4 as a starter for Minnesota. The Vikings signed Brosmer as an undrafted free agent in the offseason. He has made four appearances for the team this season, completing five of eight passes for 42 yards.Brosmer took first-team reps for the Vikings in practice on Wednesday. "He's new to the game, he's new to the NFL. He's learning just like everyone else has to learn as a rookie, and he obviously had to go through the mental stage of having to overcome an injury the first year. So just a tough transition for him."But I feel like just him learning these past couple games, and of course learning (during) the stretch of this season, I feel like he's going to bounce back in a different way than everybody else is going to think so."Jefferson has been one of the best offensive players for the Vikings this season. He has 795 yards and two touchdowns on 60 receptions.Amid Minnesota's overall struggles, Jefferson has still looked class apart. The Vikings will be relying on the wideout to deliver against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
